Feeling the urge

Do you feel “the urge”?

It’s more than a sense of dissatisfaction. It’s more than a sense of boredom.

It’s a sense that you are a lion in a cage. And that the cage door is slightly open.

What would it feel like to burst through that cage, back into the wild Earth?

I first felt this urge when I was right out of law school.

At first, I ignored it, choosing a career path I thought was for me.

But the urge was strong, and kept getting stronger.

The urge would communicate through emotions.

What was it saying?

It was telling me I was here to do something much different than what I was doing at the time.

It was telling me that I had a purpose -- something else.

It was telling me to think and act differently.

I acted on the urge when I was about 31.

It’s been nine years since then, and I am out in the open.

I am the lion beyond the cage.

Do you feel the urge?

Listen to you it. Act on it. You are here for a reason. You are here to make the world a better place. You are here to build peace and sustainability.

The cage door is open. But it’s up to you to leave the cage.
